A DAY TRIP TO PASSO GARDENA
Sella and Sassolungo are not just famous to passionate skiers. Pass road enthusiasts will get their money’s worth just as well around the traditional Val Gardena.
Starting in Brunico take the direction of Val Badia – Corvara. In Corvara turn right towards Colfosco at the first roundabout and continue on the pass road to the Gardena Pass with a splendid view of the Sassolungo. Return either via Ortisei and Bolzano or via the Sella and Pordoi passes towards Cortina d’Ampezzo.

Starting in Brunico, drive through the Val Badia towards San Cassiano and then via Armentarola up to the Valparola pass. Continue towards Passo Falzarego and turn left towards Cortina d’Ampezzo.
In Cortina d’Ampezzo make sure to continue in the direction of Passo Tre Croci and Misurina. From there return Brunico via the Höhlenstein valley passing the green upper Val Pusteria.

BACK TO THE ROOTS OF REINHOLD MESSNER
The Peitlerkofel on the Passo delle Erbe is the most northern single peak in the Dolomites - a solitary just like this breathtaking tour!
Drive from Brunico into the Badia valley to San Martino in Campo. Pass the picturesque Thurn Castle and drive up to the Passo delle Erbe. Continue over the Kofeljoch into the Afer valley, home of the famous alpinist Reinhold Messner, and return via Bressanone and Neustift.
